Thank you for popping in to visit my website!
One of the finest steps in my life was moving into association management of non-profits within the outdoor hospitality industry. Building and stabilizing several associations allowed me to stay equally committed to the frontline of our industry. Those owners and managers define and deliver the experiences of campers, RVers, and glamping enthusiasts!
Having streamlined and stabilized the programs of the Rivers & Rockies Outdoor Lodging Coalition (RROLC), the Colorado Campground & Lodging Owners Association (CCLOA), and the South Dakota Campground Owners Association (SDCOA), I’m now able to finally have some remaining ‘bandwidth’ to return to what I did before: consulting, speaking, and professional training.
Summer 2026 starts a full-circle moment for me, and I’m thrilled to be available for additional new projects again! If I can be of service to your business, let’s connect!
EARLIER BACKGROUND
My college degree was attained after splitting my studies between sciences (pre-med) and business, and my careers have been a similar blend, from the front line in hospitals and emergency departments to behind the scenes in the lab, to creating medical technical documents, writing and training for a medical software developer, and eventually creating my own business to freelance my services. Living near a university made it easy to expand my clientele to undergrads with résumés and graduate students with their theses. Later, my husband and I embraced the internet, which creative additional revenue sources.
I’ve been a traveler, camper, owner / operator of an RV park, consultant, teacher, speaker, executive director, board member, association officer, and … wow … much more. At no point of my youth, college, and earlier career years did I realize I’d take this particular life journey into the camping industry!
In 1999, my husband and I entered into the outdoor hospitality industry, and that’s when I set aside all of my earlier ‘industries.’ I’ve been to truly hundreds upon hundreds of campgrounds (likely closer to 2,000), and I’ve worked with associations at the local, regional, state, and national level, and have served on many Boards and Executive Committees. Would I go back to those pre-1999 industries? No! After 10 years at my RV park, there was no extinguishing my current passion!
